摘要

Abstract

For resourceful treatment of NOx waste gases,the performance of NO2 absorption in water or dilute nitric acid is investigated to explore the influence of the absorbent amount, nitric acid con-centration(3% -30%) and absorption pressure. It is found that the increase in absorbent amount, nitric acid concentration and absorption pressure all lead to the higher absorption efficiency. Absorption of NO2 in water includes chemical and physical absorption processes, furthermore, physical diffusion and chemical reaction exist in both gas and liquid phases. In the present work,the composition of HNO2 and HNO3 in the absorption solution is analyzed and the variations in the concentration of NO2 and N2O4 in gas phase are compared before and after the absorption. It is proved that the absorption occurs mainly with the chemical reaction of N2O4 and water.
