人肝细胞肝癌中STAT3的表达及其临床意义
Significance of STAT3 expressions in human hepatocellular carcinoma

Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) in human hepatocellular carcinoma ( HCC ) and its significance in liver cancer. Methods Immunohistochemistry method of SP was employed to detect the expression of STAT3 in 76 HCC tissue specimens; 29 normal hepatic tissue specimens served as controls. The expression of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) was detected at the same time for comparison. Results The positive expression rate of STAT3 in HCC was 68.4% (P<0.05), which was significantly related to the history of alcohol use, tumor diameter, vein invasion and TNM stages ( Ⅰ and Ⅱ ) (P<0.05). The expression of STAT3 in HCC had a positive correlation with COX-2 protein level (r = 0.683, P<0. 05). Conclusion STAT3 and COX-2 are overexpressed in HCC and may be involved in early hepatocarcinogenesis. STAT3/COX-2 related signal pathway may play an important role at the early stage of HCC.关键词
