摘要
Abstract
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Guizhifuling capsule combined with mifepristone versus mifepristone alone in the treatment of uterine myoma. Methods CBM, CNKI, VIP and WanFang Databases were searched for randomized controlled trials ( RCTs ) till May 2012 on Guizhifuling capsule combined with mifepristone for the treatment of uterine myoma. Related RCTs were included according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. All included RCTs were assessed according to the Cochrane Handbook 5. 0. Meta - analysis was conducted using Revman 5. 1 software. Results Ten RCTs involving 1 021 patients with uterine myoma were included. Meta - analysis results showed that uterine myoma volume change after the treatment was greater in the study group than in the control group [ WMD =0. 68, 95% CI ( 0. 61, 0. 75 ) ]. Level of serum progesterone showed larger decrease in the study group than in the control group [ WMD =0. 31, 95% CI ( 0. 05 , 0. 56 ) ]. A general statistical description was made for follicle stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone and estradiol for the heterogeneity of the two groups was large and could not be eliminated. No significant difference was observed in the clinical effective rate between the two groups [ RR = 0. 85, 95% CI ( 0. 59, 1. 22 ); P > 0. 05 ]. However, the significant effective rate [ RR = 1. 30, 95% CI ( 1. 11, 1. 53 ) ] and the total effective rate [ RR = 1. 15, 95% CI ( 1. 06, 1. 25 ) ] of the study group were significantly higher than those of the control group ( P <0. 05 ). The uterine volume change after the treatment in the study group was greater than that in the control group [ RR = 21. 55, 95% CI ( 15. 93, 27. 16 ); P < 0. 05 ]. Conclusion Guizhifuling capsule combined with mifepristone is more effective than mifepristone alone in the treatment of uterine myoma. However, high - quality, large sample - sized, multi - center RCTs are needed to verify the reliability of this study.关键词
