Processing of simulated dichloromethane gas by absorption-catalytic degradation with bimetallic iron particles

摘要

Abstract

The simulated dichloromethane gas was absorbed and treated by self-made bimetallic iron particles in aque ous solution. Ag/Fe,Cu/Fe and Ni/Fe particles were used in the experiments separately. The effect of pH and bi metal ratio has been studied. Results shows that lower pH is beneficial for the dechlorination reaction. The dechlori nation rate and the removal efficiency increase as bimetal ratio increases while the ratio is lower than 0. 05%. Among the three bimetallic iron particles, Ni/Fe performs best in enhancing the dechlorination of dichloromethane.
