摘要

Abstract

Self-assembly orthorhombic and hexagonal MoO3 microrods were successfully synthesized using CTAB as the template.The as-synthesized products were characterized by XRD,SEM,TEM and FT-IR.The results showed that the products could make azo dyes decolor with or without sunlight irradiation.The catalytic behaviors of the as-synthesized MoO3 microrods were observed:α-MoO3 exhibited much better efficiency than that of h-MoO3,which might be attributed to the higher crystalline of α-MoO3 and the differences of crystal structure between the two phases MoO3.Furthermore,it was found that both phases of MoO3 could change the color of Congo red dye and sunlight irradiation had little effect on this process.
