Effect of Accelerometer and Mounting Technique on Acceleration Sled Simulation Test Results

Abstract
To research the effect of accelerometer and mounting technique on acceleration sled simulation test results, piezoresistance and capacitive silicon accelerometers used commonly in crash tests are used to measure different simulation target pulses of acceleration sled tests. The parameters of accelerometer including output deviation, correlation function, energy spectrum and shock response spectrum are calculated in DIAdem and Matlab. The influence on measurement results caused by difference of accelerometer and mounting technique is analyzed in time domain and frequency domain.关键词
