The metamorphism-deformation features of major tectonic cycles in Fuxin area and the geological significance

Abstract
According to field survey and existing data the paper focuses on the research of main tectonic cycles' metamorphism and deformation features of Fuxin area. Fuping, Sipu and Yanshan periods are the main metamorphic periods during which metamorphism of granulite-amphibolite fades, low amphibolite-high greenschist facies and greenschist facies took place. Fuping period is divided into 3 deformation episodes, Sipu period 2 deformation episodes and Yanshan period 5 deformation episodes. The tectonic deformation is characterized by evolution from deep level through medium-shallow level to surfacial level deformation. Tectonic movement of Fuping period controls formation of Anshan type iron deposit, tectonic movement of Yanshan period formation of hydrothermal gold, copper, fluorite, zeolite and bentonite deposits and coal and oil shale deposits.关键词
