摘要

Abstract

For the frequency instability problem of wind power in China, this paper presents a design scheme of a kind of variable pitch vertical axis wind turbine(VAWT) with segmented structure and introduces its characteristics briefly. The blade element theory and numerical simulation was used to analyze its aerodynamic performances and a conclusion was drawn that its variable pitch performance and the blade strength and stiffness properties were more superior. The research plays a promoting role for the development of wind power in China.
