Effects of different improvement measures on plant community and soil of typical pasture

Abstract
The trial of various improvement measures of pasture was conducted in Yunwu Mountain Nature Reserve during April to September in 2010 to seek for the key technologies to accelerate the grassland ecological restoration in the semi - arid areas of southern Ningxia. The results showed that there was no significant difference in plant diversity between the treatment of harrowing and the control ( P > 0.05) . The coverage and biomass under harrowing were remarkably reduced by 7% and 32.4 g·m-2 respectively, compared with the control. The soil moisture content under the treatments of harrowing, harrowing + reseeding, harrowing + fertilizer, harrowing + reseeding + fertilizer, and fencing was significantly different from that under the control ( P < 0.05), while the soil bulk density under these treatments was reduced. The content of soil nutrients under harrowing + reseeding + fertilizer was also significantly different from that of the control (P<0.05).关键词
