Study on ±800 kV DC Flashover Characteristics of Glass Insulator in High Altitude Area
摘要
Abstract
A series of DC flashover tests of glass insulators under different ESDD, NSDD and contamination conditions were conducted to understand external insulation of ultra high voltage DC transmission lines and the flashover characteristics of glass insulators. The porcelain insulators were tested in the same conditions for comparison. The results indicate that the flashover characteristics of glass insulators are similar to those of porcelain insulators; the size of ESDD and NSDD and distribution of contamination impose significant effects on the flashover characteristics of porcelain insulator.关键词
