Treatment of electroplating additive producing wastewater by UV-Fenton

摘要

Abstract

In this study, UV-Fenton was used to treat electroplating additive producing wastewater and the impacts of H2O2 dosage, FeSO4 · 7H2O dosage, pH, oxalic acid dosage,TiO2 on the COD removal ratio were studied. The results showed that the COD removal rate of UV-Fenton was 94. 3% and the best operating condition were pH =4, H2O2 dosage of 80 mL/L, FeSO4 · 7H2O dosage of 6 g/L, n( Fe2 + ) : n( H2O2 ) =1:36, oxalic acid dosage of 12 g/L, TiO2 dosage of 1. 0 g/L and the reaction time of 60 minutes.
