摘要

Abstract

Hand-sorting method was used to separate the carbon and residue in the gas furnace slag. Modified residue was prepared by a method of wet pH impregnation from raw residue. The adsorption property of modified residue and isolated carbon in the slag applying on the treatment of wastewater with phenol was studied. The results show that the capacity of isolated carbon is superior to the others. Adsorption kinetics showed that the adsorption process of modified slag and isolated carbon with phenol can be described by second-order reaction. Thermodynamic study showed that isotherm adsorption equilibrium fits Langmuir model.
