摘要

Abstract

MicroRNAs(miRNAs), a class of noncoding RNA of approximately 21-24 nucleotides in length, play a role in post-transcriptional regulation of target gene expression by cutting the transcript of target genes or inhibit the translation of the transcript. It was found that miRNA can regulate the development of ovarian and testicular, and promote the maturation of oocytes and the differentiation of sperm, which has an extremely close relationship with gonadal development of mammals. This paper reviewed miRNAs' biogenesis, mechanism of action and its regulation in mammals gonadal development.
