Effects of Feeding Model on Milk Yield and Milk Composition of Holstein Dairy Cows in Netherlands

Abstract
To investigate the effects of two typical feeding model on the milk performance of Houlstein cows in Netherlands, thirty four healthy Holstein cows, with similar weight and mean milk production in mid-term lactation, were randomly allotted to two groups by using randomized block design, which were control group and treatment group, and every group had 17 cows. Control was fed under the grazing model, and treatment was fed under the grazing and concentrate model. The duration of the preliminary experiment was 15 d and the duration of the formal experiment was 30 d. Milk yield and milk sugar percent of control increased 12. 4 kg (P＜0. 01) and 0. 15%(P＜0. 05) than that of treatment. But there was not significant effect on milk protein, milk fat and solid of non-fat (SNF) (P＞0. 05).关键词
