Effects of Essential Amino Acids on Caenorhabditis elegans Development
摘要
Abstract
All food resources were removed except 10 kinds of essential amino acids to explore the effects of these essential amino acids on Caenorhabditis elegans development. The results show that without any nutrient resources, C. elegans stayed in diapause and did not have a significant body length growth. However, C. elegans living with essential amino acids had significantly longer body length compared to diapause worms in control group. Our study demonstrates the effects of essential amino acids on C. elegans development have provided basis and proof for further functional and mechanism study on essential amino acids.关键词
