NF-κB immuno-positive cells in the median eminence of diabetes mellitus rats
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To explore the expression difference of NF-κB in the cells of median eminence ( ME) of diabetes mellitus rats at different time, and to explore the role in diabetes mellitus. Methods:Male Wistar rats were randomly divided into five groups; a control group; STZ-administered groups; 2-week group, 4-week group, 8-week group and 11-week group. The NFκB immuno-positive cells of the above groups were observed with immunohistochemical method. Results: The value of optical density was high in the 2-week group, and the immuno-positive expression of the NF-κB was different from that in the control, the 4-week, 8-week and 11-week groups. The expression was decreased in the 4-week and 8-week groups, with a significant difference with that in the control and 11-week groups. Conclusion:During different stages of diabetes mellitus, the NF-κB expresses differently, suggesting the activation of the NF-κB in the early stages of diabetes mellitus in the ME. The ME may participate in the role of both neuroendocrine and the neural immune regulation.关键词
