Research of interoperability on simulation-based training system

摘要

Abstract

As Command and Control (C2) systems are used more widely in the Digital Army, the training on it becomes more important. To provide a realistic environment for C2 training, we use more times of simulation. Interoperating military command and control with the simulation-based training Support Environment (S-TSE) in training systems is imperative. Conceptual reference model of interoperability was developed to identify all possible types of information that could be exchanged between C2 system and S-TSE. The improved system integration is essential for the interoperability. Finally, the key research of interoperability in simulation-based training system is the C2\M&S interoperability language, including Common Data Model, Formal Grammar and Formal Semantics.
