摘要

Abstract

Using the phytopathological methods, the comparison of the biological characteristics of Fusarium subglutinans of maize top rot causal agent and Fusarium proliferatum of maize sheath rot causal agent was conducted. The results showed that the mycelia of the two pathogen could grow better on Czapek,PSA and PDA. The two pathogen could also effectively use many kinds of carbon sources and nitrogen sources, the optimum carbon source and nitrogen source for Fusarium subglutinans was soluble starch and peptone and for Fusarium proliferatum was maltose, glucose, fructose, sucrose and beef extract. The temperature for mycelia of the two pathogen growth was ranged from 5℃ to 35 ℃ , the optimum temperature was 25℃, and the pathogen could not several at 40℃. The mycelia could grow from pH5 to pH12 and at pH6 was the optimum. Fusarium proliferatum grew faster than Fusarium subglutinans when the pH from 4 to 8,pH from 9 to 12 was opposite. The effect of light on the mycelia growth was not evident.
