摘要

Abstract

This paper studies the basic principle of wind turbine LVRT based on battery energy storageis system (BESS) introduced, then a control strategy integrating BESS and Crowbar crowbar circuit is proposed to implement increase LVRT capability. When the system voltage dips slightlya little, BESS adjusts the amplitude and phase of the AC side output appropriately to provide reactive power to recover the system voltage dip by PQ decoupling PI control to provide reactive power to recover the system voltage; When the system voltage dips sharplya lot, adopting a coordinated control of BESS and Crowbar crowbar circuit is adopted to implement LVRT.Timely, , and to dump the superabundant energy and to protect power inverter. Finally, DFIG and LVRT simulation model is established by PSCAD / EMTDC, the result shows that the strategy enable DFIG LVRT capability under different voltage dip cases.
