Abstract
Objective To discuss the methods and effect of Ilizarov technique for correcting flexion contraction of knee joint in children. Methods A total of 15 children of flexion contraction of knee joint were treated in our hospital. For these patients we underwent surgery by Ilizarov technique. Patients were assessed clinically and radiographically pre- and post-operate. Results Follow-up examination showed flexion contraction of knee joints were corrected fully or partly, no neurological deficits happened in this group. Conclusions Flexion contraction of knee joint is difficult to treat. Ilizarov technique is an effective method to deal with it.关键词
