摘要

Abstract

Due to complex terrain conditions, developed geological structure, deep groundwater, thick waste backfill with depth of 0-75 m in bottom and serious uneven settlement in the construction of upper reservoir of Liyang Pumped-storage Power Station, and at the same time, for solving the problem of a large amount of waste dump in reservoir bottom, reducing dead storage, shortening initial water storage duration, lowering operation and maintenance costs and maintenance difficulty, lowering the difficulty of construction and saving investments, the seepage control scheme is specially studied. The geomembrane is finally selected as the seepage control of reservoir bottom. This practice shows that the application of geomembrane in seepage control of reservoir bottom with higher head and deep backfill is feasible.
