摘要

Abstract

Strain SCSIO ZJ28 was isolated from deep-sea sediment collected in the South China Sea and identified as Streptomyces albiflaviniger SCSIO ZJ28 by analysis of its 16S rRNA gene sequence. The strain was fermented using M-AM2ab medium. Guided by brine shrimp lethality assay and antibacterial activity assay,a macrolide was obtained from the fermentation extract using various chromatography techniques. The compound was identified as elaiophylin (1) on the basis of spectroscopic analyses,including ESI-MS,lH,13C and 2D NMR experiment,and confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction.
