Non-destructive study for the Newton's ring based on CCD and pseudo-color enhancement

摘要

Abstract

In this paper, CCD image technology is used to transform the interference image of Newton' s ring to the digital image via the image-collecting card,and the pseudo-color enhancement technique is proposed to study the non-destructive image processing of the the Newton' s ring; at the same time, unclear gray-scale image is avoided, the curvature radius of Newton' s ring is gotten by the image measurement software. The results show this proposed method is of less relative error than the traditional measuring method.
