摘要

Abstract

AFM (Atomic force microscopy) has been widely applied in membrane science because of its outstanding advantage. It could get the three-dimensional morphology of membrane surface in air, liquid and other environments. And it could quantitatively get the roughness and pore structure of membrane. Moreover, it could evaluate membrane fouling by force curve. This paper gives an introduction of its principle, and the applications of AFM in membrane science in recent years, such as morphology of membrane surface and membrane fouling.
