摘要

Abstract

The absorption coefficients and refractive indexes at 0.3-1.4 THz of intrusive rock, effusive rock and sedimentary rock have been researched by terahertz time domain spectroscopy technology(THz-TDS), combining with its polarizing microscope images. The results demonstrated the regular patterns that the absorption and refractive properties of samples changed with its structure, components and types. Therefore, THz-TDS is an effective method to the qualitative identification of rocks, and it will be used to lithogenesy, evolution characteristics, and mineralization relationship analysis.
