Even-order Harmonic Suppression for Voltage Source Converters Based on Improved Space Vector PWM Method

Abstract
The production principle of even-order harmonics in normal space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) algorithm and the principles to improve even-order harmonic suppression are analyzed. On the basis of different vector sequences used in different space sectors, several improving methods for even-order harmonic suppression are proposed. Simulation models are established, and harmonic contents of different SVPWM waves are compared by Fourier analysis. Experimental results are based on a 250 kW photovoltaic inverter plant and recorded by an oscilloscope with fast Fourier transform analysis function. Simulation results and experiment results are given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed methods. The advantages of proposed methods are shown by comparison with conventional improved methods on complexity, losses and effectiveness.关键词
