Heavy metal concentrations and bioaccumulation of kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus) growing in farmland of south-central part of Fujian province

摘要

Abstract

For the study of accumulation characteristics of kenaf to heavy metal, total contents and bio-available contents of soil heavy metals were analyzed by collecting samples from cultivated soil in four areas of the center and south of Fujian Province, and uptake and accumulation of Cu, Cd, Zn, Cr, Ni and Pb in cultivar Fuhong 952 were also analyzed. The results showed that Cr and Ni in cultivated soil of Zhangpu far exceeded Soil Environmental Quality Standards (Grade Ⅱ ) , that was Cr 187.1 mg · kg-1, Ni 109.5 mg · kg-1, was respectively 4.5 times and 7.6 times background value of soil elements in Fujian Province, and was respectively 2.9 times and 4.8 times background value of soil elements in China. Though content of Cd was low in four areas, bio-available contents accounted for more than 15% of total content. The bioaccumulation factors of Cd in kenaf were more than 1. The highest accumulation contents of Cu was 251.6 g · hm-2 during growing season, and that of Pb was 263.4 g · hm-2, Zn was 1021.1 g · hm-2, Cr was 105.0 g · hm-2, Cd was 8.6 g · hm-2, Ni was 112.1 g · hm-2.
