Effect of early rehabilitation nursing on rehabilitation of stroke patients with hemiplegia

Abstract
Objective To investigate the impact of early rehabilitation nursing intervention on muscle strength,limb motor function and quality of life for patients with hemiplegia.Methods 78 stroke patients with hemiplegia in our hospital were randomly divided into early rehabilitation group (ER group) and conventional nursing group (CN group).Both groups received basic treatment and care; while ER group received early rehabilitation care in additon.Muscle strength,limb motor function and quality of life were compared after treatment.Simple Fugl-Meyer score (FM score) was used to assess limb motor function and so was the Barthel index (BI) to assess quality of life.Results Level of muscle strength,FM score,and BI score were significantly higher in ER group than in CN group (P＜0.05).Conclusions Early rehabilitation nursing intervention can help patients regain muscle strength and exercise limb function,thus improving quality of life.It is worth popularizing clinically.关键词
