Abstract
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of joint detection of serum tumor markers carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125) and alpha fetal protein (AFP) for immature and mature ovarian teratomas. Methods The clinical data of 111 patients with ovarian teratomas in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed. The single event of CA125 and AFP in serum was statistically analyzed, and the differences between immature and mature ovarian teratomas were jointly detected. Results The levels of serum CA125 and AFP and their positive rates in immature group before treatment were significantly higher than those in mature group. The sensitivity of CA125 to immature ovarian teratoma was higher by using single- event detection, up to 43. 75% . The specificity and total accuracy of AFP was higher, and the specificity could reach 100% , while the sensitivity was lower. Compared with single - event detection, joint detection obviously increased diagnostic sensitivity, but the specificity declined. Conclusion The joint detection of serum tumor markers CA125 and AFP has a certain reference value for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of immature and mature ovarian teratomas, and is of great help for clinical doctors to choose operative methods.关键词
