Abstract

Recycle braking energy is HEV important characteristics and the key technology of HEV realizing fuel economy and in-hancing travel distance. In view of the problems of current regenerative braking control strategy of static distribution and the vehicle brake dynamics and constraint conditions, this paper establishes the model of brake system and proposes.A new regenerative braking control strategery of dynamic collaborative distribution between regenerative braking force and frictional braking force of HEV in the prerequisite of assuring safety performance of vehicle. Simulation and correction are carried out with Matlab/Advisor for typical driving cycles. Results show that vehicle takes advantage of the ground adhesion coefficient to meet the requirements of safe driving and recycle more braking energy under the new regenrative control strategy.
