Synthesis of modificated chitosan super absorbent resin by two-step aqueous solution polymerization

Abstract
An interpenetrating network super absorbent resin chitosan/ poly (2-acrylamido-2-me - thylpropanesulfonicacid/ acrylamide) is synthesized by two-step aqueous solution polymerization.The effects of interference substances are investigated.Also the structure and morphology of the super absorbent rein are characterized by FTIR spectra, TG and SEM.The results show that the swelling ratio of copolymer could reach 1 557 g/g in distilled water when nAMPS+AM:nCTS-NH2=6:1,nAMPS:nAM=1:1,CNMBA=1.0×10-3 mol/L,cAPS= 0.125 mol/L The optimized hydrogel examined by TG shows a good property of retention performance at higher temperature.关键词
