Prevalence rate of healthcare-associated infection in a tumor hospital

Abstract
Objective To investigate the basic situation of healthcare-associated in lection (HAD in a tumor hospital, so as to provide reference for the surveillance of HAI. Methods According to the requirements of the National HAI Surveillance Network, on August 31, 2011, a survey on HAI prevalence rate among all hospitalized patients in this hospital were carried out, data were statistically analyzed. Results A total of 737 patients were surveyed, 36 HAI cases occurred, the prevalence rate was 4. 88% ; lower respiratory tract was the main infection site, accounting for 38. 89% ( 14/36%) ; daily antimicrobial usage rate was 21. 30 %( 157/737) , pathogenic detection rate in patients receiving therapeutic antimicrobial use was 74. 29% (78/105); 27 pathogens were detected in patients with HAI, 74. 07% (20/27) of pathogens were gram-negative strains, 7 Escherichia colt isolates were multidrug-resistant strains. Conclusion Survey of HAI prevalence rate can realize the occurrence of HAI in specialty hospitals, promote the implementation of measures on prevention and control of HAI, and effectively reduce HAI rate.关键词
