摘要

Abstract

A double-piston gas prover was designed for the calibration of critical flow flowmeters. The prover was able to improve the calibration limit by continuously generating a standard flow with double-piston alternative running. Firstly, the mechanical structure and the verification principle of the prover were described. Then, a simulation model was established with Simulink. The maxium calibration flow and the minimum flow were simulated with the model. The results showed that the pressure, the flowrate and some other important indicators can be controlled within the scope of the provisions. It suggests that the prover be used for the calibration of critical flow flowmeters.
