Effect of Zhipu Recipe Hollow-type Suppositories on Intestinal Barrier Function in Postoperative Enteroparalysis Rats

Abstract

Objective To observe the effect of Zhipu Recipe hollow-type suppositories (ZRHTS) on intestinal flora and apoptosis rate of colonic epithelia in postoperative enteroparalysis rats, and probe into its mechanism. Methods Fifty male SD rats were randomly divided into blank control group, model group, bifid tripleviable group, high-dose ZRHTS group, low-dose ZRHTS group. The postoperative enteroparalysis model was built by removing the uterus. The changes of escherichia coli, bacillus bifidus and apoptosis rate of colonic epithelia were observed two days after modeling. Results Compared with the blank control group, the content of escherichia coli was higher, and bacillus bifidus in the model group was obviously lower (P<0.01). In high-dose ZRHTS group, escherichia coli was lower and bacillus bifidus was higher than those of the model group (P<0.01). Compared with the blank control group, the apoptosis rate of colonic epithelia in the model group was obviously higher (P<0.01). Apoptosis rate of colonic epithelia in high-dose ZRHTS group was lower than that of the model group (P<0.01). Conclusion ZRHTS can improve intestinal flora disturbance and apoptosis rate of colonic epithelia in postoperative enteroparalysis rats, which may contribute to its preventive and therapeutic mechanism.
