摘要

Abstract

Sclerotinia sclerotiorum (Lib.) de Bary is a necrotrophic fungal pathogen which infects over 400 species of plants worldwide including important crops such as rapeseed, soybean, sunflower, and so on. More and more attentions are paid to the fungus, one of the most devastating plant pathogens. By now, a lot of molecular biology techniques have been used in studying this fungus. This review summarizes current molecular knowledge of mechanisms employed by the fungus to parasitize its hosts with emphasis on cell-wall-degrading enzymes, oxalic acid, infection-cushion or sclerotia, and the interaction between it and hosts.
