Abstract
[ Objective ] The research aimed to study the inhibitory effect of ethanol extracts from 26 kinds of Chinese herbal medicine on Staphylo-coccus aureus. [Method] Anhydrous ethanol was used to prepare ethanol extracts from 26 kinds of Chinese herbal medicine to make the bacterio-static test on Staphylococcus aureus. The species of Chinese herbal medicine with better bacteriostatic effect were screened out. [ Result ] The ethanol extracts from Rheum officinale Baill. ,Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch. .Evergreen leaves,Radix Angelicae pubescentis and Cornus officinalis flesh had obvious inhibitory effects on S. aureus. The bacteriostatic effect of Rheum officinale Baill. was the best and its MIC was 1.9 mg/ml. The bacteriostatic effect of ethanol extract from Evergreen leaves was the next and its MIC was 250 mg/ml. [ Conclusion ] Rheum officinale Baill had better bacteriostatic effect on S. aureus and had some application value.关键词
