摘要

Abstract

Using self-propagating high-temperature synthesis technology (SHS) , the solidified body of simulated radioactive graphite containing actinides was prepared with TiO2, C, Al and CeO2 as raw material. The products were investigated by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The results shown that the solidification process by the SHS method maintains when ω(CeO2) ≤8% but not thorough due to the existence of TiO2 and C in the combustion products as well as some unknown diffraction peaks appeared in the XRD fingerprint; the solubility of CeO2 reached 2% ; and the morphology of the solidified body was irregular and mainly plate-like.
