IMPLEMENTING INTERCONNECTION BETWEEN MANET AND IPv6 NETWORKS WITH ANYCAST TECHNOLOGY

Abstract
This paper proposes an interconnection scheme for MANET and IPv6 networks based on Anycast communication technology. In the scheme, when a mobile node switches between different mobile sub-nets, it obtains using Anycast the best information of IPv6 gateway access point and therefore is accessed to the Internet. The advantage of the scheme is that it doesn' t need the repeated address detection and the tunnel creation mechanism. In-depth discussion and analyses of the scheme are conducted in the paper, and the simulation and analyses on reception rate of the packet are carried out with NS2 as well. Simulative experiment results prove the effectiveness of the scheme.关键词
