摘要

Abstract

Ultrasonic milling is a hybrid machining process combining the material removal mechanisms of ultrasonic machining and milling,which has been cost-effective machining method for hard and brittle materials. It is difficult get the steady vibrational state which the tool in the ultrasonic frequency range, so it make the best of the energy when the ultrasonic vibration is loaded. The result of modal analysis for the tool of the ultrasonic vibration milling is calculated with ANSYS Workbench, it obtained the natural frequencies and modal shapes. By comparing find out the natural frequency and change the size of the tool holder,so that the inherent frequency comfort to the design requirements.
