High power supercontinuum source based on multi-core photonic crystal fiber
摘要
Abstract
The obstacles of scaling the average output power of the supercontinuum source based on single core photonic crystal fiber are analyzed. Adopting multi-core photonic crystal fiber as the nonlinear medium would be a potential solution. A 42.3 W high power supercontinuum source, spanning from 750 to 1700 nm, is demonstrated by pumping a piece of self-made multi-core photonic crystal fiber with a self-made picosecond fiber laser.关键词
