Infection and the pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis
摘要
Abstract
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a demyelinating disease affecting the central nervous system . According to recent researches , its onset is closely linked to several viruses and bacteria , among which, the Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) is the biggest spot. These viruses and bacteria might have affected the body long before the attack of MS and have participated in the immune mechanism in its morbidity via increasing or decreasing immune response . 关键词
