摘要

Abstract

Cold stretching technique is a kind of green manufacturing technology that could significantly improve the yield strength of austenitic stainless steel and reduce the wall thickness of austenitic stainless steel cryogenic vessels. Nowadays this technique has been applied in several countries including China in the manufacture of austenitic stainless steel cryogenic vessels. It's not long since the cold stretching technique was applied in China, and some new technical problems emerged in the process of implement. FAQs of cold stretching technique for austenitic stainless steel cryogenic pressure vessels on aspects of material, design, fabrication and test are discussed in this paper based on the practices and achievements in recent years. Some suggestions are given.
