摘要

Abstract

The mitochondrial,an important organelle where substance metabolism takes place, has absolute genome. Mitochon-drial is an abundant organelle which support energy for cell in eukaryotes. Recently, there are some new research progress in mtDNA transcription. It was confirmed that transcription apparatus contained mitochondrial transcription factor A, mitochondrial RNA polymerase and mitochondrial transcription factor B2. Transcription of mtDNA was regulated by nuclear genome encoding proteins and transciption apparatus together. Moreover, mtDNA also affect nuclear genome expression. The research advances in mtDNA transcription and regulation are discussed systematically from genome structure, transcription process, and the function of transcription apparatus, transcription termination factor family, nuclear receptor hormone in this paper.
