Abstract
Objective To analyze the severity of middle cerebral artery (MCA) stenosis and the infarction pattern of diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging ( DWI) . Methods The clinical data of 56 patients with acute ischemic cerebral infarction were analyzed retrospectively. They were all diagnosed as MCA stenosis by magnetic resonance angiography. MCA stenosis was divided into mild, moderate and severe stenosis. The infarction pattern based on DWI was divided into small perforating artery infarct (SPAI) , large perforating artery infarct (LPAI) , pial infarct (PI) , border-zone infarct (BZI) , and large territory infarct ( LTI) according to the stenotic degree of MCA. Results ①Of the 56 patients with MCA stenosis in this group, 12 were SPAI, 4 were LPAI, 9 were PI, 1 was LTI, and 30 were BZI. ②In the BZI, 6 patients were anterior BZI, 4 were posterior BZI, and 20 were internal BZI. (3)Among the patients with mild, moderate and severe MCA stenosis, the most was BZI pattern, they were 39. 1% (9/23) , 41.2% (7/17) , and 87.5% (14/16) , respectively, and in the BZI pattern with mild, moderate and severe MCA stenosis, the most was internal BZI, and they were 26. 1% (6/23) , 29.4% (5/17) , and 56. 3% (9/16) , respectively. Conclusion In patients with mild, moderate and severe MCA stenosis, the cerebral infarction pattern is mainly BZI. In the BZI pattern, the internal BZI is most common. The patients with severe MCA stenosis are more significant.关键词
