Abstract
Objective To establish a method for the determination of total iron in limonite. Methods The processing method of the drug sample was investigated, and the potassium dichromate method for the determination of the total iron in limonite was established. Results The processed drug powder could dissolve in selected reagent within about ten minutes. The recovery rate was 97.54%-101.72%, with RSD of 1.33% (n=9). RSD of reproduction was 0.59%, and RSD of precision was 0.23% (n=6). The average content of total iron in sample was 71.50% with RSD of 0.16% (n =6). Conclusion The method was rapid and accurate, and provided a basis for establishing the quality standard of limonite.关键词
