摘要

Abstract

The Al-Mg alloy samples with different content of aluminum were prepared, and the effects of Al content on solidification structure and the morphology of β phase were studied by OM, SEM and EDS. The results reveal that the amount of eutectic β-Mg17Al12 phase rapidly increase with the increase of aluminum content in hypoeutectic composition, and the morphology gradually transformes from mesh sheet structure into cluster structure of eutectic. Brinell hardness of the magnesium alloy first increases and then decreases.
