摘要

Abstract

Objective The parallel sampling method is introduced into the digitalizing of the fast electronic pulse from the detector in positron emission tomography ( PET) to digitalize the signal exactly and reduce the cost of high-speed data acquisition system. Methods One parallel sampling system is developed successfully with two ADCs connected to the MCS-51 microprocessor and one piece of LCD served as the display device according to the method of digitalizing the pulse from the PET detector via parallel sampling. Results The main control chip drives the two ADCs and the LCD successfully. The analogue signal is converted into digital signal and recorded via parallel sampling. Conclusions This method is feasible in digitalizing the pulse from the PET detector.
