摘要

Abstract

In order to analyze Low voltage ride through (LVRT) performance of grid-based asynchronous wind turbine, this paper built the grid -based asynchronous wind turbine model and the reactive power compensation devices (STATCOM) model; established a wind farm simulation system model; respectively analyzed the LVRT performances of the grid-based asynchronous wind turbine with and without the improvement measures (STATCOM installed at bus rod). The conclusion was that: the doubly-fed induction wind turbine had a better LVRT performance than squirrel-cage induction wind turbine and the performance could be improved by taking certain measures, especially for the squirrel-cage induction wind turbine.
