Effects of Maternal Nutrition on Offspring Reproductive Functions and Their Mechanisms: An Overview
摘要
Abstract
Maternal nutrition plays an important role in fetal programming of offspring, and pregnancy and lactation periods are the " critical windows". At this stage, the quantity and quality of maternal nutrition have a permanent effect on offspring' s growth development and metabolism. Maternal malnutrition can affect offspring's metabolic homeostasis, growth performance and disease susceptibility. In this paper, the effects of maternal nutrition on the reproductive functions of offspring and their possible mechanisms were reviewed.关键词
