Abstract
Objective To provide support for clinical selection of surgical procedures by analyzing the efficacy of nasal endoscopic surgery and nasal lateral incision in the treatment of inverted papilloma in nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses.Methods The efficacy of surgical treatment was retrospectively analyzed in 71 patients with inverted papilloma in nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses.42 received endoscopic nasal surgery and 29 underwent nasal lateral incision.Postoperative recurrence rate,intraoperative blood loss,and complications were compared.Results Volume of intraoperative bleeding was smaller and rates of postoperative complications and recurrence were significantly lower in the group of nasal endoscopic surgery than the group of nasal lateral incision (P＜0.05).Conclusions Nasal endoscopic surgery for inverted papilloma in nasal cavity and paranasal sinus has a lower recurrence rate,less blood loss,fewer complications,no formation of facial scars,and complete removal of the tumor.It is worth popularizing clinically.关键词
